About Therapy
I am Akash Dhawan, a Counselling Psychologist working with adults and couples.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, reflective, and evidence-based. I aim to help individuals better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns, and to develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
I work with concerns such as anxiety, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship issues, self-esteem, life transitions, and unresolved emotional experiences.
Therapy sessions are conducted in a confidential, non-judgmental, and supportive environment. Sessions are available online as well as in person, based on suitability and mutual availability.
The first 15 minutes of an initial telephonic consultation are offered free of charge to help determine whether therapy would be appropriate.
